That’s a hell of a contradiction!

A new study has found that the daily mail has no clue what they write about.

Dr. Good questioned 114 people out of 1 BILLION and 94 percent of 114 carried phones. This is the brand new ground breaking discovery that has shocked the world. This is the biggest medical discovery since penicillin. Dr. GOOD has also revealed that the average age of the people that were surveyed is 34 and 39 percent had a history of mental health problems. This is about as reliable as Justin Bieber turning up to his concert on time. Also the comparison of the two pictures of Mark Zuckerburg is truly amazing. In the first article he looks so happy whereas in the second article he looks as though he has just received horrible news.

I wonder what will be next for ground breaking new research? Facebook can cure all diseases.

Today I will be talking about the outrageous issue of abortion. Many people have different views on abortion and I respect their opinions however I feel that it is wrong and should become illegal.

The first point that I would like raise is that some abortions might have a chance of failing and  the therefore the baby will be born alive a birth. In 2008 a total of 66 abortions failed and at birth the babies were still alive and struggling to breathe. Imagine you were this baby lying there’re gasping for air hour after our until you breathe you’re last breath. Imagine the pain you would be going through. How would you feel if you were put through all of that.  All 66 of these failed abortions was down to the NHS. About one year ago in the news it was reported that a woman had killed herself by overdosing on paracetamol because her abortion had failed and her baby was born alive. The little girl then died four hours later.

The second point that I would like to raise is that the bible teaches it’s follower’s about the quality of life and how people should respect others right to lift. The bible also teaches that “thou shalt not kill”. This is quote is found in Exodus 20:13 of the bible.

My third point that I would like to raise is that nobody has the right to kill another human being under all circumstances (excluding accidents), no matter what age they are. let me ask you this question, would you kill another person?

I with a lot of other people believe that an unborn baby should have the privilege to live and grow into a normal person. this is a quote from a website named eslbee.com, “women who want abortions need to be more humanitarian and less egotistical”.

It is estimated that there is 43 million abortions each year worldwide, if that’s not mass murder I don’t no what is.

I will now hand other to my opposition for there view on this current matter

I had a weird feeling,
And it was not good.

I felt so disgraced,
Blood trickled down my leg,
As it was still trapped under the car.

When I saw the car speeding around the corner,
I new I was in trouble,
From nowhere it flipped,
It did five somersaults in the air,
As I was paralized with fear,
I stared to feel the tears.

I new it wouldn’t be long,
Before I met my end,
The screaming pain in my leg,
I wish it would end.

I could see the bone in my leg,
I knew I had hurt my head,
But was I seeing things,
Some more disturbing than others.

As I turned away,
I heard the fire brigade,
And I new I would live to die another day.

Throughout the book of Touching the Void we respond to Joe in many different ways.

The first way we respond to Joe is that we sympathise for him. We sympathise for him because he has broken his leg and there is a probability that he might not make it back to base. This is shown through the language used by Simon in the quotation “You’re fucked matey.” The use of the word “fucked” shows that Simon feels there is nothing he can do for Joe and he might have to leave him there. This creates a strong possibility of  Joe dying. Therefore because Joe is in a situation where there is a possibility of death we start to sympathise for him and hope he is OK.

Siula Grande is a mountain in the Peruvian Andes. It is 6,344 meters high and has a sub peak named Siula Chico with a height of 6,260 meters. The Peruvian Andes are a mountain range in South America.

In 1985 Siula Grande was climbed by Joe Simpson and Simon Yates. Their ascent was made famous by Joe Simpson’s book Touching the Void, which describes the ascent and subsequent harrowing descent of the mountain. The ascent was on the West Side of the mountain and the horrific and terrifying descent was on the North Ridge.

The mountain tops are covered in endless sheets of snow and the weather varies from day to day. For example on day the weather could be hazardous such as storms and blizzards and another day it could be bright sunshine.

Here you will be able to create, edit and receive feedback on pieces of work that you will complete as part of English. You will be able to use this as a way to develop your writing and thinking outside of class.
